EXPERIENCE RACING

Rental karting competitions are sporting karting events that use so-called “rental” karts, vehicles that are otherwise available for rent and recreational driving at all karting tracks throughout Serbia. The competitions are organized according to regulations that are revised and improved every year, modeled after the regulations of the world’s largest motorsport competitions. SOR Rental karting competitions are private competitions of the sports association SOR Motorsport, fully open to the public. These competitions are the most affordable form of sports karting competition and as such represent an ideal starting point for any racer. It can be said that our rental karting competitions are amateur competitions organized at a professional level.

PAYMENT OF ENTRY FEE
Of course, to participate in any of our competitions, you must first pay the entry fee or installment of the entry fee, depending on the competition in question.

Racing experience is not required for the Championship. SOR Motorsport is a community of like-minded people that welcomes absolutely all racers, regardless of their skill level in racing.

No. Every driver who wants to race with us must undergo racing training, and the license obtained after successfully passing the theoretical test of racing rules is the only document required for participation in our competitions.

There is only a lower limit. Participation in our rental competitions is open to individuals over 14 years of age, and for any minor participant, it is necessary for their guardian to sign a consent form for participation in the competition.

You don’t need to have your own equipment. When we say equipment, we mean a racing suit, shoes, gloves, helmet, and so on. All you need is to wear clothing during driving that fully covers your body, made of material that won’t easily catch fire (polyester, nylon…) and sports shoes without a platform. You can borrow a helmet, which is a mandatory part of the equipment, for use during the race day at the karting track.

Our competitions are held according to the calendar of the season, which you can find on this website or in the Regulations that can be downloaded by clicking on the button on the competition pages.

Competitions are usually held at karting tracks in Kula, Belgrade, and Jagodina. The track in Jagodina is used in both directions, so we can say that we have two different tracks available in Jagodina.

The prizes for the winners of our competitions in the 2024 season are actually awards. These are personalized, handcrafted trophies and medals that can be won at each race day, as well as at the end of the season for the most successful teams and individuals.

1. RULEBOOK
First and foremost, read our Rules and make sure you understand and accept all the competition conditions.

2. LICENSE
After reviewing the Rules, consider the racing training, which is a requirement for obtaining our license, i.e., participating in rental competitions. If you don’t have a certificate of completed training or if it has been more than 3 years since your training, you won’t be able to participate in the competition. You can sign up for the competition even before completing the training to secure your spot, but keep in mind that you must have a license, and therefore completed training, at least 7 days before the competition.

3. REGISTRATION FOR THE COMPETITION
As mentioned, you can register even if you don’t have a license yet, but remember that you must complete the training and obtain the license to race. Within 24 hours of submitting your application, we will contact you with basic information and further instructions. If everything is in order with your application, you will be listed as a registered competitor, which will be displayed on the page of the competition you signed up for.

Note: It is possible to fail the test at the end of the basic racing training. If you signed up for the competition before completing the training and did not pass the test or obtain the license, your registration for the competition will be canceled, and the entry fee will be refunded.
